An evening at the opera in the quarry is always an unforgettable experience. With Gerstner's Opera Lounge offer, you can transform it into a glamorous synthesis of the arts, music, architecture, cuisine and wine.
Modern architecture, a prominent location with a unique view of the stage and festival grounds and the exquisite food and drink offer from Gerstner included in the price make a visit to the Opera Lounge your personal VIP event. Whether as a pampering package for yourself, a romantic dinner for two or a time together with dear friends as well as a stage for your prestigious corporate and business events, your wishes take centre stage in the Opera Lounge.
The Opera Lounge Package includes
12-course Flying Dinner:
A fine selection of various small dishes, set at your table or served by Gerstner.
Before the opera – appetizers and main courses.
During the intermission – dessert and coffee/tea.
After the performance – 30-minute open bar.
Large choice of drinks from the Opera Lounge assortment:
Refreshing welcome cocktail (non-alcoholic) inspired by "Tosca," created for you by the Gerstner bar team.
Selected „Tosca“- wines (white and red) from the Esterhazy winery in Trausdorf, matched to the Opera Lounge menu.
Fruit juices and mineral water from our partners Rauch and Römerquelle

- Due to limited space, the accessible restroom is located in the Foyer Park
Please note:
- Admission July: 6:30 p.m. / Performance starts at 8:30 p.m / Admission August: 6:00 p.m. / Performance starts at 8:00 p.m
- We recommend arriving early so that you can relax and experience the full service delights, which cannot be guaranteed if you arrive laten.
- If you would also like to take part in a stage tour, we recommend booking the time slot at 7:00 pm (July) or 6:30 pm (August)
- The Opera Lounge package is only available in combination with a valid ticket for the opera performance on the same day. Entry to the Opera Lounge without prior booking is not permitted.
- Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking areas
- For safety reasons, it is unfortunately not permitted to remain in the opera lounge during the performance.
- Bookable for up to 200 people

The traditional Viennese brand Gerstner, the Imperial and Royal Court Confectioner, is known worldwide for its artistic cakes and chocolates as well as its first-class catering range. For more than 175 years, Gerstner has used its expertise and passion to provide a delightful setting for major cultural events such as the Vienna Opera Ball and the New Year's Concert. Since this year, Gerstner has also been in charge of the exclusive catering for the opera lounge at the St. Margarethen quarry.
